Bound very well in faux leather, the covers are in very good condition with minor rubs. The pages of the book are uncut and therefore rough to all edge, age toned and in very good condition considering it dates from 1814. The front outer page has writing to both sides and has loss to base, the rear outer page has an old sellotape repair. The main body of pages are soundly bound and apart from the edges, are in good repair. The book has the smell of living in a smoking household.
