Green cloth covers with rubs to extremities, internally pages are very good but for some age spots to first few pages.  Included is a map of the island during the occupation with diagrams to endpages.  Published in 1953, this is a First Edition published by Secker & Warburg.  Written by Alexander Wallace Fielding.  Smells a little of tabacco.

The previous owner of this book must have been part of the force during world war II as there are pencil notes in the margins relating to his experience.
