The Blue Field by John Moore First Edition Second Impression August 1949 with Dustjacket

Orange cloth hardback in very good condition in excellent condition with minimal rubs. There is light foxing to outer pages and the odd page, otherwise very good.  The protected dustjacket is age darkened with some light rubs and small loss to outer head of spine.  Written in 1949 is a successor and companion-piece to Brensham Village which in its turn continued with the account of people and happenings in England's Middle West begun in Portrait of Elmbury.
