Round About Helvellyn Twenty-Four Plates by Thomas Huson 1895 Large Format Book

Large format cloth cover book with gilt decoration and titles to front cover and gilt title to spine and closed pages.  With some rubs to extremities and exposure at two corners, a scruff to opening side front.  Well bound with surface crack to front hinge and owners dedication to ffep dated 1894 and owner's name on reverse of page.  Light foxing to outer pages and the occasional spot stain through the book.  With twenty-four full page bordered sepia plates in lovely condition; some of the opposite pages have age shadowing. A very nice copy of this 1985 book published by Seeley and Co Limited, with notes by the artist and desciptive passages from Wordsworth's poems.
