Red and White A Tale of the War of the Roses by Emily Sarah Holt Published by J F Shaw and Co around 1890 (Copy)

Red cloth title with gilt titles and decoration to spine and embossed decoration to front cover with author's signature.  This is part of a collection of Emily Sarah Holt books, that are listed separately.  The covers have rubbing to extremities and small nicks to head and tail of spine with corner bumps.  Internally with decorated endpages and cracked hinge to front, with book plate covering owner's details.  Pages are age toned and very good.  The books were published J F Shaw and Co around 1890.  We have four titles in this collection with red covers and one in green.
