The Road to Wimbledon by Alice Marble Undated First Edition c1940

This first edition is rare to find with a dustjacket and tells the story of Alice Marble, an American Wimbledon champion from the 1930s.  The book was published by W H Allen.  The dustjacket is grubbed with nicks and tears with small losses to extremities.  The black cloth book is very good throughout with illustrated pages from the time.
