The Cities and Cemeteries of Etruria in Two Volumes by George Dennis Published by John Murray in 1883

This is a heavy two volume set published in 1883 containing maps, plans and illustrations from that time.  This is a Third Edition.  The books are olive coloured cloth with gilt decoration to front cover and spine and decoration to perimeters front and back. The covers have corner knocks with some exposure, the spines have ragged edges to head and tail of spine with some loss and puckering, one volume is no longer sharp, one volume has a cut in the area of the title. Hinges cracked to both volumes.  Both frontispieces are protected.  There is surprisingly little to no foxing considering the age of the books.  There is a little water marking to the top of a few pages in Volume Two and marking to a few pages at the base of Volume One.  There is a bookseller's & stationers sticker inside front cover of J Fawn & Son Bristol to Volume One and previous owner's bookplate inside Volume Two.
