The Quest for Karla by John le Carre Tinkler Tailor Soldier Spy, The Honourable Schoolboy and Smiley's People First US Edition Alfred A Knopf 1982

This is a compilation of three books related to Karla, the popular spy novels written by John le Carre.  This copy is the First Edition of the compilation published by Alfred A Knopf in 1982.  This large and heavy black board book with blue/black cloth spine has some rubs and a small spot stain to head of spine sits inside a dustjacket that has rubs, nicks and small tears and creasing along the open edges and flaps (I think this is due to the size of the book). Internally the pages are very good throughout with light age toning.
