The House at Pooh Corner by A A Milne with Decorations by Ernest H Shepard First Edition 1928

This orange cloth covers book with fading gilt decoration to front; rear and spine in good condition.  There is some rubbing and light sunning to head and tail of spine with corner knocks along with some staining and marking to covers.  Internally the book is very solid with excellent hinges, the pages are good with some spot stains at base edges to first few pages, a stain to base of pages 66/67 and pages either side and the occasional corner turn. The dustjacket is in poor condition along with sellotape repairs. This copy is a first edition from 1928 and was published by Methuen & Co Ltd.
