East of Eden by John Steinbeck First UK Edition 1952 With Dustjacket and 'Bite' Error William Heinemann

This is a true UK First Edition published by William Heinemann Ltd in 1952, as it contains the publishing error in the original US edition of bite instead of bight.  The dustjacket has been repaired at the front flap and has nicks and tears and loss to front cover base.  It is grubbed and stained.  The green cloth covered book is in excellent condition throughout and only lightly age toned.
